NTTC April 2009 Fruit Dessert Roundup
8 May 2009

The first ever NTTC, Not Time To Cook happened in March 2009 and 6 people participated. It wasn’t a lot, but it got my hopes up and I was really excited to do the next one. This time around I even came up with a theme to make it more fun. Make a dessert! I said. Use Fruits! I said. In my eagerness, I also designed a bunch of nifty banners to use and promote the event. Nutty Ten to Twenty Club I called cooks who jumped onto the NTTC bandwagon. Alas, my excitement was short lived and a whole month passed by with only two recipes submitted. Come on Blogosphere, you surely can do better than that!
Without further ado, I quickly present to you the NTTC April 2009 Roundup with three beautiful dessert recipes, including one of my own that could be filed away under very fast, very yummy desserts in your recipe journal. Thanks to the lovely ladies at Tomatokumato and MeatlessMama we managed to pull through another month.

Emiglia made some lovely Strawberry Bruschetta, a fresh and brilliant idea for a dessert. I have never seen it being served anywhere in cafes. A timeless, classic and simple Fruit Salad by Meatlessmama reminds everyone of how simple it is really to keep up your daily fruit intake. And my very own Green Apple Pancake Pudding, perfect for a breakfast or dessert I really had to work fast on this one to get it under the time constraints. A tidy little trio of fast fruit desserts. Missions Accomplished!
Watch the blog for the NTTC May 2009 Challenge later today. That’s right! I haven’t given up yet.
