| Spicy Prawns | |
These prawns are great as a side dish with a main course of rice or noodles, but they also serve well spread out over salad leaves on a platter with little toothpicks skewered through them for a fantastic finger food idea.

| Radish Leaf Dumplings | |
This is an unusual little dish made from the lesser known and lesser used leaves of the radish rather than the root itself. It has a bite to it and a delicate flavour that subtly transforms soups and stir fries into something special.

| Lentil Burgers With Yoghurt Dressing | |
In the spirit of the Picnic Season, this week I have a great vegetarian recipe for all you Barbecue Lovers. A lot of my friends and acquaintances are going green and when they turn up at barbecue parties, serving them something totally vegetarian from the grill poses a big dilemma for the host. This lentil burger is not only delicious, it is super-healthy and has a lovely texture. It has egg though, and if your guest does not eat egg either, you can always use cornstarch as a binder instead of the egg.

| Ginger Chutney | |
This chutney is ready in a few minutes but needs to macerate for at least 2 days before you can use it. So make it a couple of days ahead in time.

Aahh the lure of a patisserie and the childlike glee in finding an unusal treat amongst the pastry laden glass shelves. This unusual little tart or light pie if you may, is an adventure in taste and texture. Try it!

| Raspberry And White Chocolate Coconut Bread | |
This bread is tasty just by itself, but it is divine when toasted and slathered with butter. An ideal breakfast or picnic recipe idea, it has a very tropical feel to it.
