Coconut Walnut Slice
In Australian Women's Weekly "Cakes And Slices", this recipe is referred to as "Caramel Walnut Slice". I figured out that it was incorrectly titled after I started making it, as it had neither liquid glucose nor condensed milk which would have contributed to the "caramel" in the slice. The excessive use of coconut led me to believe that it was actually "Coconut Walnut Slice" and boy was it yummy!

Drop Doughnuts
I have been wanting to try these ever since I saw their picture in a local food magazine. Of German origin, they take the intimidation out of trying to achieve perfectly round donuts with holes in the middle. Just scoop the dough and drop it into the hot oil [very carefully of course!], and serve them with a smattering of sugar and ground cinnamon.
