    Chai Cake With Green-Tea Syrup
A very delicate and exotic flavoured specialty cake, this recipe would be perfect for an Asian-inspired yum-cha or tea session.

    Cantonese Corn Soup
I love Chinese soups, they are quick to make, fuss-free and taste delicious. They stay hot longer as most of them are thick due to the use of cornfour or congee rice. Very satisfying and filling!

    Thai Style Garlic Chicken
The marriage of garlic and chicken was indeed made in heaven. The combination of these two ingredients is pure genius, each bringing out the flavour of the other. Throw in some lemon juice and black pepper and you have an instant winner.

Chola Gobi [Quick Chickpea And Cauliflower Curry]
"Chola Gobi" is an interesting twist to the more traditional and world famous "Aloo Gobi". This is an extremely fast recipe that I devised when I was pressed for time and now use it wisely on a short notice. I just make sure that I have all the ingredients handy at all times, and I can have this ready in under 20 minutes when I need a miracle.

    Roasted Vegetable Bruschetta Topping
Make this a day ahead of your big, casual entertaining night and store in the fridge. Whip it out an hour before the guests arrive and leave it at the table. Bring some bruschetta, warm from the oven and see the delicious topping disappear as everyone scrambles to smear it on the bread!

    Paneer Tikka Butter Masala
This was and still remains my brother's favourite restaurant food. The paneer is quite melt-in-the-mouth and the sauce is rich and bursting with flavour. After testing and experimenting with several recipes, I felt this one came the closest to the ones available commercially in Indian restaurants.

Miso Soup With Mushrooms And Tofu
I recently had the pleasure of sampling a very flavourful Japanese dish called 'Katsu-Don' and the Miso soup that came with it was very satisfying. I have dug up a slight variation to the soup I had, this one with mushrooms and tofu can also be served as a main. You won't believe that it cooks in under 10 minutes.

Poha Bake [Flattened Rice Flake Bake]
'Poha' or 'Pauva' is used to make a delightful array of snacks along India's West Coast, the most popular being 'Batata Pohe' aka 'Bataka Pauva', a savoury pilaf-style dish consisting of potatoes and flattened rice flakes. In 'Poha Bake', we give the traditional classic a modern twist and end up with a yummy finger food.
