| This is a great fusion of meat and fruits, very innovative and quick too. The lack of elaborate spices makes this 'throw together and let it cook' dish extremely refreshing. Try it during summer and enjoy the tropical taste. |

| Ingredients |
|
1 whole chicken, cut into medium sized pieces
|
|
1 small tin pineapple cubes
|
|
3 oranges, juiced
|
|
2 red/spanish onions
|
|
2 green chillies
|
|
1 inch piece of ginger
|
|
7-8 flakes garlic
|
|
3 cardamoms
|
|
3 cloves
|
|
salt to taste
|
|
3 cups water
|
|
oil for frying |

| Method |
Make a paste of the ginger and garlic. Chop the onions and fry in a little oil till golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste, chicken pieces and salt. Shallow fry till the chicken turns golden. Add chopped green chillies, cardamoms and cloves. Stir for a few more minutes. Add the water and cook over medium heat till the chicken is tender and about three cups of gravy remains. Add the orange juice and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Add pineapple cubes and cook for another 10 minutes. |
