| Ingredients |

75 g plain flour
|
|
250 g wheat flour
|
|
30 ml oil
|
|
80 ml water
|
|
1/2 tsp salt |
|
|
| Method |
Sieve plain flour and wheat flour. Combine, add salt and mix well. Make a well in the centre, add oil and water. Knead to form a soft dough. Cover with a wet cloth and allow to rest for 20 minutes.
Divide the dough to form 4-5 small balls. Roll each ball into a chapati [tortilla], keeping the edges thin and even as you roll. Stretch to required size by hand and dry roast over a tawa [flat pan] till done. |
