These can be made instantly and are a great tea-time snack. The number of fritters may vary depending on the size you make.
 
Prep & Cooking Time: 20 mins
Makes 10 pieces
  Vegetarian  From My Recipe Book
Ingredients
   1 cup mint leaves
   1 cup gram flour[besan]
   6 green chillies
   1/2 tsp ajwain [carom or bishop's weed]
   1 tsp garlic paste
   1/2 tsp cumin seed
   a pinch of baking powder
   salt to taste
   oil for frying
Method

Wash and chop the mint leaves and chillies. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Add little water to get a batter of thick consistency. Heat oil and drop spoonfuls of the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Serve hot with sauce.
