| The nice thing about this recipe is that you are not governed by the 'cherry' season, a store bought can of cherry pie filling does the trick. This is a scrumptious, eggless, microwavable cake recipe. |

| Ingredients |
|
1 1/2 cups cake flour
|
|
1 1/3 cups cocoa powder
|
|
3/4 cup sugar
|
|
1/4 tsp salt
|
|
1 tsp baking powder
|
|
1 tsp cinnamon powder
|
|
1 tsp vinegar
|
|
1 tsp vanilla essence
|
|
1 cup cherry pie filling
|
|
1/3 cup oil
|
|
3/4 cup water |

| Method |
Sift and mix all dry ingredients. Slowly mix in the remaining ingredients. Put 3/4 c of cherry pie filling in the bottom of a microwave bundt cake dish. Put the rest of the cherry pie filling in the cake batter. Pour into the cake dish and bake in the microwave for 9 min on 50% heat. Turn & bake for an additional 3-4 minutes on high. The top may look moist. Cover cake while still in the dish with a towel for about 1-2 minutes then turn out onto a dish and serve. |
