| Ingredients |
|
1 cup fettucine
|
|
1 tbsp olive oil
|
|
1 cup fresh cream or thickened milk
|
|
1/3 cup shredded fresh parmesan cheese
|
|
1/2 tsp. dried basil
|
|
juice from half a lemon
|
|
dash of black pepper
|
|
shredded parmesan for garnish
|
|
fresh basil leaves for garnish |

| Method |
Cook pasta according to instructions on the package. Drain. Immediately return to pan. Add olive oil. Toss to coat. Add thickened milk, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, dried basil, lemon juice and pepper. Cook over medium high heat until bubbly stirring constantly. Top with additional cheese and fresh basil. |
