| I came across this recipe in an old battered magazine cutting that I had saved almost 12 years ago and can't wait to try it out. The thick soup made of chicken, shrimp and crabmeat sounds like the perfect winter warmer recipe. |

| Ingredients |
|
8 cups chicken stock
|
|
100g shrimp
|
|
100g boneless chicken, shredded
|
|
50g crabmeat, finely chopped
|
|
8 small button mushrooms
|
|
1 tsp celery leaves, finely chopped
|
|
2 eggs, beaten
|
|
3 tbsps cornflour mixed in a cup of water
|
|
a pinch of msg [ajinomoto] |

| Method | | Heat Stock. Add the chicken, shrimp and crab. bring to a boil. Add MSG and cornflour paste. Simmer and stir continuously to avoid lumps from forming. When soup thickens, add beaten eggs. Stir briskly and remove from heat. Serve hot garnished with chopped celery leaves. |
