| This is a great version of mixed homemade breakfast cereal, especially for younger kids as there are no nuts involved. For older kids, you can add your choice of nuts to the mixture to add more crunch and texture. Extremely Nutritious! |

| Ingredients |

75g oats
|

25g wheatgerm
|
|
25g dessicated coconut
|
|
15g sesame seeds
|
|
2 tbsp maple syrup
|
|
25g raisins
|

15g butter |

| Method | | Mix the oats, wheatgerm, coconut and sesame seeds in a large mixing bowl. Melt the butter, stir in the maple syrup and mix this with the dry ingredients. Spread the mixture on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 1800C for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to make sure that the mixture is evenly browned. Stir in the raisins, allow to cool and store in an airtight container. |
