| These slices are fit for royalty and might become an instant hit at your next party or big family get together. The best thing about them are the readily available ingredients and no baking. They are plain gorgeous and taste very exotic when chilled. |

| Ingredients |

450g dark cooking chocolate, chopped
|
|
130g butter, chopped
|
|
1 cup dried figs, chopped
|
|
10 savoiardi biscuits[sponge finger], chopped
|
|
1/3 cup pouring cream
|
|
cocoa powder for dusting |

|
| Method | | Place the chocolate, cream and butter in a saucepan over low heat and stir continuously until melted and combined. Remove from heat and set aside. Place figs and savoiardi biscuits in a mixing bowl, pour over two-thirds of the chocolate mixture and stir to combine. Spoon the mixture into an 8 inch square, greased and lined tin. Pour the remaining chocolate mixture over and tap the bottom of the tin to level the mixture and remove any air bubbles. Cover with cling wrap and place in the fridge for 3 hours until set. |
