| Ingredients |

4 red onions, finely sliced
|

3 cups breadcrumbs
|
|
1 tbsp olive oil
|
|
1 tbsp butter
|
|
1 tbsp freshly chopped thyme |
|

| Method | | Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over low heat. Add the onions and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly till the onions become soft and golden. Remove from heat, add breadcrumbs and thyme. Mix well. |
