| Ingredients |

250g unsalted butter, softened
|
|
250g superfine caster sugar
|
|
250g plain flour, sifted
|
|
1/4 cup milk
|
|
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
|
|
4 eggs
|
|
1 tsp vanilla extract
|
|
cocoa powder to serve |

| Method |
Preheat the oven to 160oC. Lightly grease a 20-cm round cake pan and line the sides and base with non-stick baking paper.
Place the butter, sugar and vanilla extract in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat for 10 minutes until light and fluffy.. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the flour and beat well to combine. Fold through the milk and chocolate. Spoon the mixture in the prepared cake pan and bake for approximately 50-55 minutes until cooked through.
Allow to cool in the tin. Dust with cocoa powder to serve. |
